Elvis is our beloved 4 year old boxer mix who we got as a 5 month old puppy. Originally a rescue from Mississippi, Elvis had a rough start on the streets. He is an anxious boy because of this. W have spent a lot of money on training and have him on a daily anxiety medication that helps him live his day to day pretty well. Elvis is slow to warm up to new people especially men. He loves my husband and I so much and is very obedient to us. We have a 1 year old daughter however that he is very unsure of and starting to show signs that he is not going to be good with her. He has never bit a human however has previously snapped at myself when I was trying to scold him for destroying an item. This has lead me to the difficult decision that we need to rehome him before he bites my daughter. He can resource guard food and a favorite toy. Elvis loves to snuggle on the couch and sleeps politely in his bed at night. He's house trained and loves to play. He is not great on walks due to his street anxiety but loves a dog park and daycare. He currently lives with another dog and is very submissive to him as well as 2 cats which he doesn't bother with.
