**COURTESY POST MAYBEL** Age 3 Phoenix AZ. Meet Maybel....this gorgeous girl needs a new family. Her dad is at that point in life where sadly medical necessity dictates an assisted living facility. His daughter would love to keep her but has several dogs of her own. She knows how much her dad loves Maybel and wants what's best for her. We are full to the brim in our foster homes....but want to help out with social media posting to find this gorgeous girl the best possible outcome...PLEASE SHARE! Here is what we know: *She is what looks like a full blooded Pitbull. *She is white with gray spots. *Clipped ears but no docked tail. *She is just about to turn 3, fixed, and up to date on her vaccinations. *She is a big girl with squaty legs, she is about 55 pounds but would easily shed some points with proper exercise. Message from her family: We adopted her from Pima Animal Care Center back in February. She was there on a stray hold, that was the second time she had been there on a stray hold but the owners did not come back for her the second time. She is the biggest lap dog that just wants to give love! She loves all people and is gentle and patient. She is reactive to other dogs, on and off the leash. I have had an assessment with a dog trainer, her suggestion is to be in a single dog house, with a family that can give her the proper training on leash reactivity. She needs a family that is going to walk, play and be active with her. We would also say she should go to a cat-free home because she likes to chase them. My dad is heartbroken over this decision and just wants to do right by Maybel. We are all heartbroken, She is the sweetest dog and anyone would be so lucky to have her be a part of their family.
