About Dee dee

Meet Dee Dee !! This sweet girl and her brother Dexter (posted separately) have such a unique look. They reminded us of something created in a laboratory hence their names. They are looking for SEPARATE homes. Dee Dee just turned 1 year old. She is a female, beagle mix. She weighs 17 pounds. She will be spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped as part of her adoption. She is heartworm negative and on preventatives. Dee Dee came to us needing to learn a lot but with a great personality. She is overall a sweet, loving and happy girl. She is a very clingy and needy girl in the love department. She wants to be held or with you all the time unless she's playing. She did great with meeting all the dogs in her foster home. She is with small and large dogs, senior and playful dogs. She's very submissive with other dogs. She enjoys to run the yard and play with them. She isn't fostered with cats but her previous owner said she lived with them and did find. She has been wonderful with children. She loves anyone that will give her attention. She is working on potty training but isn't perfect yet. She is crate trained and does good with car rides. She is leash trained but does still pull a bit. She overall just needs a bit more one on one attention and time to perfect all of her training. Dee Dee has not shown any aggression at all. She has been fine sharing food, treats and toys with both humans and other dogs. She has a higher energy level and needs exercise and play time. She's also clingy and wanting to be with you. Not a lap dog at all but very loving. She loves toys, playing with other dogs and running around the yard. Dee Dee would love an active family with someone wanting a playful girl to be their shadow.
