About Bootsy

This breaks my heart. I'm going to school and the living quarters won't be fair to him or my roommates. He's a champion cuddler when the mood strikes, loves to nap in sunny spots, and will happily keep you company on the couch or in the yard. Like most hounds, he's got a curious nose and a touch of independence. He can be a bit protective of his favorite treats and bones, so he's best suited for a home that understands resource guarding and can help him feel safe and secure. The simplest solution is to NEVER give him bones of digestible material-only Nyla bones. Ropes are his favorite toy. He loves to play tug. He thrives with clear boundaries, plenty of love, and space to stretch his legs. He is very communicative of his needs. In return, he'll give you loyalty, laughter, and that special kind of companionship only a hound can offer. You will have a black shadow wherever you go named Bootsy.
