About Daisy

This is Daisy. She needs a new home. She is an eight month old spayed female shepherd mix, and she is a wonderful dog. I adopted Daisy three months ago. The 'cat test' that the rescue ran on her was woefully inadequate, and despite my best efforts, her reactivity to my cats is intensifying. She is smart, sweet and loyal. She's very energetic and my one bedroom apartment is not enough for her, despite whatever enrichment I try to provide. She needs a yard. Daisy LOVES other dogs and loves people. She has been through a lot of change in her short life and I had hoped to provide stability, but my cats are miserable. They're afraid to move. I am working with the rescue that I got her from, but they're overwhelmed, and every rescue that I contact recommends trying to rehome her myself. I will drive her pretty much anywhere within reason from DC.
