About Mocha Jo

It's hard to imagine anyone doing anything but showering Mocha Jo with love but sadly her life has been lacking in affection u til now. Mocha Joe was found abandoned by a wonderful dog lover who is currently fostering her. Mocha Jo was starving and emaciated with every rib visible, yet when given food she still displayed gentle good manners and a grateful heart. Mocha Jo has been gradually showing us her true self - she is fun, amenable, spunky and cooperative. She behaves well in public and was sweetness personified at the vet. She is smart, quick-witted and eager to please with opinions of her own that she likes to co tribute too. Mocha Jo tested heartworm positive but is being treated. She showed no symptoms and has a wonderful prognosis! She is also enjoying eating her way back to her ideal weight again, with careful feeding and delicious nutritious food. She is a special girl, a miracle maybe, Mocha Jo is very shy, and is not going to greet you like a long lost relative when she first meets you but she has a great ability to bond. She is a gem!
