About Rowdy

My name is Rowdy! I am a stunning German Shepherd Dog Mix. I am about 5 months old and 35 lbs. I was born as a stray and found with my sister. We know who my mama was - a beautiful GSD (go figure). I am learning the ways of a real life now that some wonderful people took me in. I am playful and absolutely sweet. I am a little shy with new things because well... everything is new to me! But, I am willing to check it all out. I have quickly adapted to being inside now to enjoy air conditioning, soft beds, couches and regular meals. I am learning what it's like to use a crate; it doesn't seem to bother me. I spend my day playing with my sister, hanging out around the senior dog in the home and interacting with my foster family; I like to follow my foster dad wherever he goes. I would do great with another dog that would show me the ropes but really it's the people that are the most important. A fenced in yard is preferred (I still have to learn how to walk on that leash thing)! Kids 6+ and cats are okay!
