THE RIVERSIDE SHELTER IS BEYOND FULL AND EUTHANIZING EVEN ADOPTABLE DOGS AT AN ALARMING RATE- AND WE DO NOT WANT THIS SWEET GIRL TO BECOME ANOTHER STATISTIC LIKE THE OTHERS! BEAUTIFUL YOUNG CHOW GIRL FOUND AS A STRAY AND FONDLY NAMED 'CHA CHA' NOW AVAILABLE TO ADOPT TO A LOVING, RESPONSIBLE HOME, OR TO RESCUE, ALTHOUGH RESCUE GROUPS WOULD NEED A FOSTER TO SAVE! KENNED WITH ANOTHER FEMALE DOG Meet CHA CHA who is now listed as an approximate 3 year young female chow who weighs 55 lbs. Sadly, it appears that she was dumped in or near Cathedral City is this heat as her owner never showed to reclaim her. Cha Cha has no negative behavior or medical notes and is kenneled with unrelated female dog, currently A1871517, also available and listed as a 3 year old shepherd husky mix. Like many chows, the shelter told us, a 'Limited hands on exam was done due to her being fearful on intake. Upon approach to kennel she retreat to back ok kennel. After some time she allows leashing and was taken to play yard. She allowed limited interaction with staff.' Therefore, a chow savvy home or foster would be ideal. Cha Cha will be spayed for an adopter if she is not already fixed. Unfortunately, because the shelter is so full, she sadly can be euthanized for space now that she has met her legal retention.
