Hi! I'm Poppy, a 2 year old heeler mix weighing around 45 pounds. My foster parents found me abandoned in a field and have taken me in to try and help me become adoptable. I'm now confident with humans, but I am still very fearful of large dogs. I have fear aggression with other dogs and can't quite figure out how to get over it. Although, I do love my submissive foster brother who is a cattle dog like me. He's the only dog I'm not afraid of. I'm highly motivated by food and take to training quickly. Like most cattle dogs, I like to nip to communicate and boss people around, but I'm gentle. I'm very energetic, but also love going into my kennel for naps throughout the day. My dream jobs are chasing around cows and sheep, being someone's adventure buddy or just hanging out on a piece of property with my humans. I'm spayed, up to date on vaccinations and weigh around 45 pounds. I'd love to find my forever home.
