Oso is a 5-year-old Great Pyrenese + Anatolian Shepherd mix. We got him 3.5 years ago at the Humane Society of Nashville. Oso is a goofy and sleepy dog most of the time but when he's outside and on grass, he thrives. He's 95 pounds, so he's a big boy but he still acts like a little pup around certain toys. He's very scared of rain and storms and will hide until the coast is clear. For his new home, he needs to be somewhere with a yard to lay in and have the opportunity to be outside most of the day. With his breed, it's important to have a yard or land to protect. We have not experienced Oso around children so that is in question, but we do know he does not get along with male dogs. A home without a dog currently would be the best suite. The most ideal adopter would be someone that can work with a resource guarding dog. We love Oso very much but we can't give him the space and life he needs.
