About Reese

Shiba Inu
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

This post is going out with a prayer. A prayer that somewhere out there, Reese's angel is reading this very message right now. Someone with a heart full of patience and love, ready to show Reese a whole new, beautiful world For five long years, Reese knew nothing but a cage. Bred over and over again by an Amish breeder, he was never loved-only used. Just a body to make more puppies. No toys. No soft bed. No gentle hand. No name spoken with love. Reese is around 5 years old and weighs just 30 pounds. A beautiful Shiba Inu who should've spent his days playing, running, and being cherished. Instead, he lived in silence, in fear, in confinement. Now rescued, he's safe-but not healed. Reese doesn't understand kindness yet. He flinches when touched. He freezes when shown affection. Imagine never knowing the warmth of a hug or the comfort of a caring touch. That's his reality. He just needs someone patient-someone willing to show him what it means to be a dog. To finally live. But even after all the pain, Reese is still sweet. He's not aggressive. He gets along with other dogs. He's quiet, gentle, and trying so hard to understand. He just needs someone who won't give up on him-someone who will move slowly, love softly, and celebrate the small victories with him. He lived his entire life in a cage. That alone should make the world stop. And now he's finally free-but healing will take time. He's never known freedom. Never known love. Never stepped paw on grass without fear. Reese is currently in New Jersey and needs a calm, loving foster or adopter with a fenced yard-a must, as he's still too scared for walks. If you can foster or adopt please text Kat at (516) 457-3678 Please, open your heart. Let Reese's second chapter begin with you. This boy is meant to shine! Who will be the one to help him find his light? Run to the Rescue Where Love & Peace Will Follow.
