About Mixie

This is Mixie, she was born Christmas day 2022, she was rescued that year when her mom was left outside to give birth during the freeze. Because of this I don't know her exact breed, but she definitely has some Boxer, Pitbull and Cattle Dog in her. She is extremely reactive to other dogs and has been attacked by an off-leash dog twice when she was a puppy so I don't think she will ever do well around other dogs. She was raised around 2 cats however and does very well with them and is gentle when playing with them. She is very good at following and learning new commands. She does very well on a leash and I often take her on off-leash walks in areas where it is safe. She is 100% potty trained and will stomp when she needs to go to the bathroom. She has one bite in her history from when my ex (a man) was being very aggressive with her, so she doesn't do well with aggressive people but I would also say she needs someone with experience with high energy and reactive dogs. She is extremely intelligent and learns quickly and I think a new environment would benefit her and she has a very silly and sassy personality when comfortable. She is up to date on shots. She is good about taking baths because she loves to roll in the grass on walks and gets dirty sometimes.
