About MOLLY

Adoption Fee: $500
Silky Terrier
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

MOLLY is a 7-month-old, 3.1 lb Biewer Terrier who came to us through no fault of her own. She was deeply loved, but her owner had to make the difficult decision to surrender her due to a domestic situation. If you're looking for a sweet, devoted little shadow to share your life with, MOLLY may just be your perfect match! MOLLY is one of the calmest puppies we've met. She's a true lapdog who wants nothing more than to be near her person, whether it's following you from room to room or curling up beside you in bed at night. She'll happily settle in an x-pen when needed (she spends time there if she is unable to be supervised) but would much prefer to snuggle close. MOLLY was in a home with other little dogs like her and is used to their company and loved to play with them. We believe that her best home will have a young small playful dog in it, but it may take her a minute to adjust to new dogs in her family. If she's not spending too much time alone, she might be okay as an only, but that's not preferred. She has not been tested around cats. Due to her tiny size we will not consider a home with little kids or big dogs. MOLLY hasn't shown much interest in toys just yet but she is adjusting to being in a new home and away from everything she's known. She's doing well with potty training and benefits from regular breaks throughout the day. A fenced yard is always preferred and she should never, ever be outside by herself. She is way too small! MOLLY has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, has been started on heartworm prevention, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida.
