About Milo

My name is Milo. I am just 2 years old, neutered, shots, heartworm negative tested, and microchipped. I am just 10.2 lbs, crate trained and go potty outside if you let me out fairly frequently. I listen to commands when I want to, and am fair on a leash. Because I was surrendered and to avoid it happening again, I need an all adult home. I prefer females, and would bark and be a jerk to most males. My foster mommy has no idea why. This is something you need to know. Once I get used to human males who spoil me and give me treats, I will learn to be better. I am looking for a constant companion that will let me sit on the couch with them. I am selective about male humans, but if you are real gentle and kind, I will show you lots of love and good times. I am not crazy about being outdoors very long. Please be my forever home if you have experience dealing with doggies that might have an occasional 'tude. I have been around cats and other dogs and was a good boy. Once in a while I chase a little to tell them I am boss. Please read my quirks below, to make your decision, because I am so handsome, I will have lots of admirers. **** QUIRKS***** Usually barks because he sees something, however it is a loud, somewhat obnoxiously funny bark A tad stubborn at times, you must talk to me nicely and reward good behavior with treats. Must have canned food in diet Loves to be groomed and needs brushed and coat/claw trim regularly Does not like being cornered No children, only adults that understand he can be nippy. (he has responded favorably to behavioral work done by his rescue) Included: He has had his rabies and his shots, heartworm medicine, flea medicine, neutered and his rescue provides its own full service microchip where you do not have to do or pay anything for the chip.
