Meet Coconut Marshmallow! At just 8 months old, Coconut has already faced more challenges than most pups ever should. Found as a stray and brought to Manhattan Animal Care & Control, he came to PMAR with an untreated leg injury that, sadly, required amputation. ���� But today, Coconut is safe in a loving foster home in VT -and he's showing us what a resilient, joyful boy he really is. Coconut is wonderful with dogs, cats, and kids. He's a total sweetheart with a heart of gold, though his rocky past has left him with some separation anxiety-he prefers not to be alone and will let you know! This special boy is looking for a forever home where someone is around more often than not. With patience, structure, and love, Coconut will continue to blossom into the amazing companion we know he's meant to be. ��%8F� Could you be his forever? All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada.
