About Penny

We're looking for a new home for Penny, our beautiful, purebred German Shepherd. She's fully spayed and was raised in a home with children, which shows in her gentle, affectionate nature. She's intelligent, loyal, great with kids, and a joy to be around. We originally adopted Penny from a family who had just moved to the state and couldn't keep her in their apartment. While we've loved having her, it breaks our hearts that we're unable to give her the space and freedom she truly needs. She's an energetic dog who thrives on outdoor time, long walks, and human connection. She's not suited for being crated or confined indoors for long stretches-she needs room to run and roam. Penny can be a little nervous in new environments at first, but she adjusts quickly. She does shed quite a bit, so her future family should be prepared for that. We're very particular about who we trust to adopt her, and we're currently meeting with potential owners to ensure she ends up in a loving, responsible home.
