Please don't let that stop you from adopting her as heartworm is treatable and not contagious. Ladybug was surrendered along with her fur friends Bailey (A419093) and Bella (A419094). The owner had these dogs since they were puppies. The owner has now moved and can't take them along. The owner noted she is good with kids of all ages. They say she's not good with cats or dogs. However, a meet and greet is always recommended if you have other dogs as she may or may not like others. Ladybug is a beautiful and sweet girl who greets you at her kennel door. She may seem a little shy at first but she warms right up and she gives you plenty of tail wags. Once she gets used to you, she is right at her kennel door and ready for your love and attention! This sweet beauty is a gorgeous dog with her soulful eyes that long for love. She also has the cutest little freckles sprinkled across her nose and throughout her fur. Ladybug leashed up easily and she has good leash manners. She walked down the hall a little but like her sister she preferred to stay inside. I honestly think all the dogs barking as she passed by them may have scared her. I saw no negative reaction to the other dogs as she passed by the kennels. Ladybug welcomed me into her kennel space to spend some time with her. She loves a good ear scratch and back rubs are her all time favorite thing. She took treats gently from my hand and and gave kisses to thank me. Ladybug is eager to please and only wants your love and affection. Can you give this sweet girl a home? The shelter is pretty full. Please give her a chance for a new beginning.
