Arlo the ACD It is with the heaviest of hearts that we have decided to rehome our boy. This decision was not made lightly, but unfortunately, he has been having issues adjusting to our new baby. After discussions with trainers and vets, and making every effort on our part to address the behavior concerns, for everyone's well-being-especially his and baby's-we've decided to rehome him. We've had Arlo since he was 8 weeks old; he's now 5 and has been trained and socialized throughout the years with the help of RuffLife, a facility we all trust wholeheartedly. True to his breed, Arlo is incredibly smart, loyal, wary of strangers, and full of energy. He's hiked countless trails with us, joined us on road trips, and chased his beloved disc through many parks and fields. He's always ready for an adventure - whether it's hiking 14,000 ft. mountains or grabbing a treat at the local coffee shop he's happiest when he's with his people. He knows all the basic commands, some tricks, and even some of his favorite toys by name. Arlo is healthy, neutered, chipped, and fully up to date on vet care, including biannual checkups and yearly dental cleanings. Arlo's ideal home has no kids under 10 , no cats, and preferably active humans who understand working breeds. While he's okay with other dogs, he thrives with human attention and structured physical and mental activity. We love Arlo deeply and are sincerely heartbroken to have to let him go, but unfortunately this was one hurdle we could not overcome. If interested or have further questions about Arlo feel free to text us at 828-713-8562 or email at [email protected] Willing to travel just about anywhere for the perfect furever home for him.
