About Phineas

Phineas is stray that we found. We believe based on his physical appearance and behavior that he is at least mostly Mountain Cur if not all. We had him neutered and updated his vaccines. He is currently on heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention. The other two spayed female dogs in our home get along well with him. He is drawn to human females, but will do fine with men once he gets to know them. He is protective of his family and alerts us to any potential danger. He loves to be outside and play in our ponds. Chew toys are his favorite toys and not fond of fetch unless he is fetching a passing butterfly or other flying insect. He has strong hunting skills as the squirrels in our yard are aware. His command knowledge is a bit limited, but he does know 'sit', 'paw', 'out', 'off', 'drop it', 'back', potty', 'find your peepee poopoo spot', and 'kennel.' He is potty trained and knows how to get in a kennel. He currently sleeps in a kennel to keep our belongings safe (he still has some puppy tendancies).
