About Emmy Lou

Emmy Lou is a sweet and crazy little girl that we found outside last week. We estimate she is 10 weeks old. We got her treated for fleas and ringworms, and at the same time she tested positive for FeLV, and negative for FIV. She has also had her first vaccination for Distemper, and will need her second+rabies and potentially a third, followed by spaying. We absolutely adore her as she is the sweetest kitten, but her FeLV status makes her incompatible with our other 2 cats. She would have to stay separated from them long term which isn't good for any of them. She deserves a home where she can run free and play. The FeLV status is NOT a death sentence - the best thing for her is to be in a low-stress loving home and be kept indoors to help her stay healthy and protect her immune system.
