About Dodger

This is Dodger! Really wonderful personality, a sweet dog. He's cuddly and follows you around the house once he gets to know you. Eager to please. Adopted him from the Humane Society in April. They found him as a stray and estimated him to be 4 years old. In the time I've known him, he's been very good indoors and knows basic commands. He's also crate trained, knows to relieve himself outside, knows to wait to eat until you say 'eat', is not destructive to furniture, does not bark a great deal, does not pull most the time on a leash. !Full disclosure- while he is a very good dog, he has been aggressive to both people and animals outdoors. I haven't found a good way to calm him down on walks or when cutting his nails (probably people have cut his nails badly in the past and now he nervous). I'm sure it's possible, I just haven't found a way. For who might come to adopt him, it will probably have to be a slow introduction. He's a cute, sweet dog, but not to those he not comfortable with in the moment.! (I've been having some issues with housing, some part to do with having a dog who is large and my not being great at managing his aggressive behaviors.
