Bob is a pure breed Dogo Argentino instead of Mastiff. I am posting for my friend. Bob is a playful, loving, loyal, and goofy deaf Dogo Argentino! He loves being outdoors and water! Was an owner surrender at a kill shelter and was rescued from euthanasia. He was malnourished and losing hair. In the several months being out of the shelter he has made tremendous progress and will continue to thrive in a loving home. His ideal home would ba a single person or couple or family with older children. Once properly introduced to other dogs he is amazing with other dogs! He comes to rely on his fellow hearing dogs to be his 'ears' and enjoys being in their company. He has without issue been around other four large male dogs. Having a somewhat rocky start to life and coupled with not having the ability to hear, it can take Bob longer then the average dog to trust new faces. Bob is definitely very weary of strangers and serves very well as the protector of the home. He has a heart of gold once he warms up to you. Must be understanding he is completely deaf and patient.
