About Dynver

Dynver | 5-Year-Old Male Pomeranian | 13 Pounds Dynver is a 5-year-old sable Pomeranian with a soft cream coat and a gentle soul. He was surrendered to rescue after his previous owner moved somewhere that did not allow pets. Born on August 25, 2020, Dynver weighs just under 14 pounds and is now ready for a fresh start with someone patient and kind. Dynver wasn't taken out much in his previous home, so he's still learning how to feel safe in new environments. He can be skittish and nervous when meeting new people or entering unfamiliar situations. If he gets overwhelmed, he may try to snap or run away, but he has never bitten. Once he's had a few days to settle in, Dynver becomes very affectionate. He loves cuddling on the couch and snoozing in a cozy dog bed at night. One of his quirks is that he finds comfort in sucking on blankets. He is currently being fostered by a dog trainer who is helping him build confidence and work on socialization. Dynver is making steady progress. He walks nicely on a leash, travels calmly in the car, and is doing well with potty training. He marked briefly when he first arrived, but now goes outside reliably. He also does well with in-home grooming when handled by someone he trusts, though professional grooming with a stranger can be stressful for him. Dynver coexists peacefully with other dogs but hasn't shown much interest in playing or cuddling with them yet. He will chase cats if they run, though he is not aggressive. He eats well and is not food aggressive, even around other dogs. His previous owner mentioned that he loves children, but his current foster has not been able to observe him with kids firsthand. Dynver is a sweet, easygoing companion once he feels safe. He just needs a calm home, a little patience, and someone who will let him come out of his shell at his own pace.
