Name: GUS Breed: Pitbull Age : 4 years old (45#) Sex: Male (neutered) Location: Mecklenburg County, NC Vet Info: HW negative as of 6/2024. Not UTD on vaccinations due to financial hardship. Owner reports: Gus was rescued from a shelter and his owner is unable to keep him. His owner describes Gus as a high energy dog. Gus is an indoor dog who is crated. He is reported to be house broken and leash trained. Gus knows the following commands: 'Crate' No Sir'. Gus is said to be good with adults and teenagers. He has not been around small children, however it is believed he would do best only with adults and teenagers. Due to his large size and blindness, Gus has knocked people over. Owner reports that Gus is food and toy possessive, but has never bitten anyone. It is believed he would do best as an only dog. 'Gus has moved with us and it didn't take him long to figure out the new layout of the apartment. He does good on walks, but he is nervous around curbs and it does take him a minute sometimes�'�|Gus is a good dog who just needs a backyard and space to run around.
