This beautiful silver-muzzled soul is blind, elderly, and heartbreakingly back at the shelter where his journey began... after nearly 14 years in a home. Duke was adopted from ACCT Philly in 2012, and for over a decade, he was a loyal, loving family dog. But on July 30th, at almost 14 years old - blind and frail - Duke was surrendered due to a move and financial hardship. Now, he's alone, scared, and at urgent risk of euthanasia unless a Foster or Adopter is found by AUGUST 3RD at 10AM. His previous family described him as gentle, kind, great with kids of all ages, other dogs, housebroken, and crate trained. A++++ dog . He spent his life being a good boy - and now he's pacing, panting, confused, and grieving in a shelter environment that's overwhelming for a senior dog who can't even see wondering where his family went .
