About Mya

Mya just turned 6years old. She has been with our family since she was 7weeks old. We have 3 children that, at the time we got her they were 11, 13 and 18 and she has been great with them always. She loves everyone in our family and is not possessive with just one person. We have grown into a very active family and are not home often enough for her now. Kids are grown and working full time jobs as well. We want Mya to have a family that has time to keep her company. She is a 14 lb. mixed Terrier/Chihuahua. She would be a great fit for a single adult or couple. She has not been raised with other animals and is very shy of other dogs. She is a good at snuggling, playing ball and chasing squirrels in the yard. She does go camping and boating but does not love swimming. She is potty trained and kennel trained but would love to sleep next to you and hog your bed all night too. She is very sweet, well behaved and minds and listens when told to do something. She rings her bell by the back door when she needs to go outside or wants to remind you it's dinner time. I put aggressive/fearful/anxious in the personality section because she is bossy sometimes (chihuahua personality coming out) and has been a little more sassy a few times than normal recently in this stage of her life. Because of that, I would say she is a better fit for an adult couple or single person instead of a family with littles.
