About Bailey

Bailey is a joyful, sprightly terrier mix whose equal parts fetch champion and sunbathing queen. At 11 years young, she's got the heart and energy of a much younger pup-especially when a ball is involved! Whether it's a toy, a stick, or just something that can be tossed, Bailey is always up for a game of fetch. When the game is over, she's perfectly content to stretch out in a sunny spot and watch the world go by. Bailey thrives in open spaces where she can roam and explore-she especially loves off-leash time in safe, enclosed areas. She's incredibly people-friendly and adores a good belly rub, often cozying up right next to her humans whenever she can. She's been a loving and patient companion to a toddler and a newborn, showing patience and gentleness even when little ones don't quite understand boundaries. She's fully house-trained and has spent her life with access to a backyard. She knows basic commands (especially when there's a treat involved!) and is OK with a car ride given some manageable boundaries. She was not properly leash-trained and is very strong, but still loves to be a walking buddy. She also gets along well with other mellow dogs and has enjoyed doggy daycare in the past. Like all dogs, Bailey has her quirks. For example, she'll give a loud bark when she's ready for dinner, just to make sure you didn't forget. But her love and loyalty more than make up for it. She's happiest in a quiet home where she'll get plenty of love, attention, and opportunities to stretch her legs and play. Bailey is ready to bring joy, cuddles, and a little spunky energy to a home that can give her the love and exercise she deserves.
