About Malala

Please prepare to provide the following information to the staff about you, your family, the city in which you live, other pets, your fenced yard, and whatever else will help identify your family as a good match. You are encouraged to call the shelter for updated information and availability, and to answer your specific questions. Meet Malala Malala is a ~5 year old girl and ~75 lbs. She's a sweet girl with a gentle soul. She's still pretty shy, but she's slowly but surely coming around more each day. She's met other dogs here and is very avoidant, but respectful and will correct them appropriately if they push her boundaries. We still don't know her entire personality and we believe she would warm up quicker in a home than here. We do not know her history with kids or cats, but we believe she'd do well with proper guidance because of her gentle demeanor. She's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. She is 175 to bring home! If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458.
