About Luna

This is Luna who is an energetic 8 year old coonhound mix dog. She's super sweet loving calm sometimes and goofy. She has a little house training but mainly is an outdoors dog. She LOVES the outdoors! We are unfortunately in a predicament where we are needing to rehome her due to the fact we believe she needs more time and commitment then what we can provide currently. This is primarily my boyfriend's dog who is out of town all the time mostly full time and doesn't have the time to train her like needed and I work full time and about to start school soon so I will be limited to training her as well. We truly want the best for Luna and unfortunately my dog is alittle territorial where it's causing issues at home with her specifically but that may not be the cases for all dogs since my dog is not the social type. We believe because of her breed, she would make an fantastic outdoors dog and can be an excellent companion with someone who has an big backyard or she would be great as an working dog on an farm or someone who is pretty athletic to give her that time and dedication she truly needs. Please understand this is a very tough decision on us both, we have truly tried to make things work but nothing seems to come to par.. Luna deserves the best owner so we are willing to meet and greet, visit the environment she would be adopted into and check in to make sure everything is going well.
