About Fergus

Fergus -14 month old Irish Wolfhound. Seeking a family with somrone home more often than not. Good with other dogs. Good with dog savvy cats. Good with kids. Lived with them in previous home. Kids 8+ yrs old unless they've recently lived with a giant breed dog. Breed experience PREFFERED. IF you haven't owned an Irish Wolfhound, please do your research before applying. Giant breeder experience REQUIRED. Housebroken. Working on crate/xpen training. NO apartments, townhomes, or homes with shared walls.�%A0Physical fence PREFFERED. All dogs in home MUST be spayed/neutered. Location Nashville TN area. We adopt NATIONWIDE Fergus is a sweet, affectionate fella who came to the rescue due to his owner developing a severe allergy to him. He has been very loved and well cared for his entire life. Fergus knows basic commands but has moments of teenager brain. He is used to having a family member home most of the time so that's what we are looking for in his new family. He is housebroken. His foster family is working to crate/expen train him and he is doing well. Fergus loves meeting new people and furry friends. While he enjoys group play, having lived as an only dog we prefer a home with one other dog or as an only dog. He lived with children and did well but he is a giant puppy. Breed experience is preferred. If you have not owned the breed, please do your research before applying to ensure that this is the breed for you and you are prepared for all that comes with owning an Irish wolfhound. You MUST have at least owned a giant breed dog. Fergus is UTD on age appropriate vet care, vaccines, preventatives and is microchipped.�%A0 He is currently in a foster home in Nashville TN area. We adopt NATIONWIDE but require adopters to travel to the foster home with their current dog/dogs (to ensure they will be friends) to pick up.�%A0 Out of respect for our foster family's time and privacy, we do NOT arrange meet and greets without an approved application on file.�%A0 His adoption fee is $600.
