Nala is a year old female border collie. She is not spayed yet, and we are testing her for heartworms. Has had basic shots. She is currently with an independent rescuer in Alabama, her family had to move, and she was left behind with her puppy and the puppy's dad, a German Shepherd. The landlord found them and got them into rescue. Nala can come to Florida with an adoption /foster to adopt commitment. Nala is okay with cats, dogs and even young kids(pre k). She can be on the submissive side but is energetic and likes to play rough. Still learning some manners about jumping up and getting her basic commands on board. Manners class will be a bonus for her. House trained, crate and leash broke on the plus side. She will need Border savvy people, an active family for those outdoorsy sports, hiking, boating, family outings, and even dog sports like scent work, disc or agility. Another k9 companion that likes to play and is a fair dog would be great. We have been told that she is the mom to the German Shep pup posted TJ. Herding dog experience is a plus here, while we have been told she is on the submissive side, that can change once a dog settles into their environ. Apps can be found at ewenityfarmsbch.com
