Now added to euthanasia list & scheduled on 8/6 to lose his life because he is so stressed out in shelter!!! URGENT LISTED DOG IN NEED OF RESCUE OR ADOPTION, LOCATED AT S.L.A./CHESTERFIELD SQUARE SHELTER JOHNNY, A2206983, MALE, GRAY PIT BULL, Age: 2 YEARS, 52.00 lbs. This animal has been at the shelter since 07/02/2025 and on this list since 07/26/2025. Urgent Listing Reason: Johnny has been in shelter 24 days with no rescue or adoption interest. Johnny seems to be behaviorally declining in the shelter. He has gone after another dog and was unresponsive to corrective tools. We are unable to supply Johnny with the resources he needs and keeping him in shelter is inhumane. Johnny should be adopted or rescued as soon as possible to prevent any further deterioration.
