About Toyota

This is Toyota!! He is 4 years old (70lbs, neutered), incredibly eager to please, and just the smartest, most loving, and well-behaved boy. He truly deserves to have a home of his own where he can be spoiled endlessly and showered with love and affection. Toyota was saved from the euthanasia list one year ago when his foster mommy came to pick him up! She fell in love with him and couldn't part ways, so eventually she adopted him. Hope (foster mommy) already has an American Staffordshire Terrier of her own but has worked endlessly this past year trying to balance out life between having two male dogs who both desperately deserved mommy's full attention. Hope can no longer keep both of these boys. She and her family are moving and need to find him a home he can call his own! She will not rest until she finds the perfect home for Toyota because he truly deserves to be endlessly loved. He has taken 6 different private training lessons under her care, where he has learned several commands that can be taught and shared with new owners! Hope would love to always be a part of his life if the new owner would allow. She is even open to trial runs to see if he would be a perfect match for your family or not!! Crate, food bowls, toys, medications (probiotics), all included with vet records. Our family and friends adore him, and during this past year, have given him all our love and care and best efforts toward making him the best he can be! Toyota would be best in a home with a yard. He would thrive as the only pet, ideally with no young children. He is very loyal, so he can be protective of his owner when food is around or if startled. An owner who is willing to spend the time working on behavioral issues, such as resource guarding, would be ideal for a smooth transition. But don't be fooled... Toyota's a silly boy who likes to chase dragonflies and bob ice cubes out of the water bowl as if they were apples. He LOVES his ball and toys, enjoys going on walks & sticking his head out of the window during car rides! He is ready to meet his forever family so he can spoil them with all the cuddles and kisses in the world!
