About Chico

Chico is a 5-year-old Lab/Pitbull mix (born December 2019) with a heart full of love and energy. He's up to date on all his vaccinations and is healthy and ready for his forever home. Chico was rescued in San Diego on the very last day before he was scheduled to be put down - and he's been showing his gratitude ever since! He's incredibly smart and a fast learner. In no time, he mastered using the doggy door, going potty outside, and even learned not to bark unnecessarily. Chico loves to play, especially catching toys in the air - it's one of his favorite things! He's also great at adapting to routines. While living with my daughter, a Marine Corps drill instructor with long shifts (8-10 hours), Chico stayed calm and content in his kennel without any accidents. Chico is ready to find a loving family who can give him the attention, playtime, and care he deserves.
