About Apollo

This is Apollo, he is a 7 year old purebred Belgian Malinois registered with the AKC. Apollo is a very sweet, and loving dog. He is neutered and up to date on all of his vaccinations. Apollo does decently well with cats; I would not recommend Apollo be placed in a home with a young child simply due to the fact that I do not know how he would behave around them. Apollo was attacked by a dog at a young age so he is very hit or miss on other dogs, but usually does well in 1 on 1 environments. Apollo is fairly well trained, knows all basic commands, and does a good job off lead. All of these would be perfect if I had the time to keep his skills sharp. Apollo has a few health issues. He had surgery on his back left leg at a young age; he has specific dietary restrictions, and a medication for his thyroid he has to take 2x a day. His last health thing, is that he does get some anxiety. Most of the time it isn't too bad, but it pretty bad at the vet. Unfortunately, I am having to rehome him due to my workload and surgeries preventing me from giving him the care he needs and deserves. Apollo has a very kind and sweet demeanor and what he needs above all else is someone who can give him love and attention.
