About Maeve

Maeve is an extremely sweet and high energy pittie. True to pittie nature she is very affectionate and great at snuggling. She struggles a bit with personal space and would be happiest to crawl inside your skin. She will often times settle for resting her face on yours and sleeping. She is athletic and would make a great hiking companion or running/biking buddy. She has completed two training courses with Bark & Biscuit in South Salt Lake and has a lifetime set of training courses that can go with her to her new home in the area. She walks great on a leash but does struggle with being overly excited. She's still a puppy and extremely smart and eager to please but is lacking structure in her current home. I have an 18 month old son and she does great with him. She tolerates being crawled all over and sat on, she has growled and removed herself but never snapped at him. She is a great dog but I am looking to rehome her as I cannot give her the attention and exercise she deserves. I'm too often feeling like I all I do is yell at her when she's excited and happy because she accidentally knocks over the baby or won't stop licking him and she isn't meaning to do anything wrong. She has always lived with other dogs and done well at daycare and training with other dogs. No history around cats. Ideally I would love for her to go a home where she can be taken for walks, hikes, and maybe camping trips. Due to high energy older children are better.
