About Kona

Kona is a loyal, affectionate, and very smart 4year old American Staffordshire Terrier who has been a beloved family companion. She is housetrained, healthy, spayed, and deeply bonded with her people. Kona loves attention, cuddling, and being close to her person-she makes an incredible guard dog and protector. Why we are rehoming: Kona needs a home with no other pets and no small children. She has developed strong dog aggression and recently attacked another dog when she got loose. With several young kids in our home, we cannot guarantee that she won't get out again, and we feel it's no longer a safe setup for her or others. Ideal home: one with an experienced owner No other pets, no small children Secure fenced yard and someone who appreciates a loyal, watchful companion Kona is not up to date on vaccinations because vet visits are stressful for her, so she will need a patient owner who can work with her on that. She is a fantastic dog in the right environment and would thrive as a single person's companion where she can be the center of attention and safely managed.
