About Callie

Callie is a 5 month old border collie puppy. She was surrendered to our non-profit (Central Ohio Service Dogs) by her previous family. Unfortunately they could not keep up with her high energy levels, and was not the right fit for the service work that they needed. This little girl will need a family who is ACTIVE and willing to put in the work to train her, as her home manners are lacking. She's done good with not going potty inside, but does not like to be cooped up. Not fond of crates at all, and her energy level means that she's all over the place. That being said, she's also extremely sweet, and loves to get pets and snuggle. She'd be a great pet for someone who could keep up with her and her training, or a farm dog to someone willing to hone her natural herding behavior. (She'd LOVE some acreage to run around on.)
