Toadette is a sweet (assumed to be) boxer mix! She is 4.5 years old, spayed, up to date on vaccines and looking for a new home. She has quite the personality and the facial expressions (those boxer wrinkles) to match! She enjoys a nice day suntanning in her favorite sun spots, lounging around with her person or taking naps. However, she is still a young adult dog so she loves her walls and chew toys as well. A fenced in backyard would be perfect for her, but walks are a great substitute! Toadette was born in Ohio and loved the snow before moving down to Florida where she's soaking up the sun, so out-of-state adopters are not a dealbreaker, I can arrange transportation or work something out. As mentioned in her description, Toadette has a bit of anxiety. I think this mostly comes from being in the shelter previously and living on the street beforehand. She currently takes anti anxiety medication and we're working through some things by establishing a solid routine and basic in-home training. Don't let her timid nature fool you! Once she gets a sniff of you and warms up, she's your best friend! She absolutely loves cuddles and kisses as well! She needs someone who is patient and understanding of her past and will work with her to establish a trusting and loving bond. Toadette is also crate trained and potty trained. Any adoption fee will be donated to a local shelter or assist in transportation should we need to travel out of state/county for adoption. A meet-and-greet is preferred before finalizing to make sure both you and Toadette are comfortable together.
