This is Zoe. She's a 4-year-old female Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog). She's not spayed and is in need of a loving, experienced home. Our family is currently rehoming her due to moving into an apartment, and we truly want what's best for her. Zoe is a working breed, so she thrives in an environment where she can stay active and busy ideally with a yard, space to roam, and someone who understands high-energy dogs. She's incredibly loyal, protective, and loving with her people once she bonds with them. That said, she is not ideal for homes with young children or high-energy environments. She has a strong herding instinct she will bark, nip, and try to control movement (especially running children). She can be wary and reactive with strangers or new dogs, so patience and proper introductions are key. She has done well with our cat Mila. We're asking a $150 adoption fee to ensure Zoey goes to a safe, committed home. This is not for profit it's just to make sure she isn't taken by someone with bad intentions. We're looking for someone with experience and the heart to give her a forever home.
