Gary is a sweet, affectionate, and incredibly trainable young German Shepherd-Malinois mix who I found abandoned in a park just under a month ago. He has been amazing with my 5 year old female black lab and loves playing tug, he is a very loyal, people-oriented companion with tons of potential. Gary gets along well with other dogs at the board-and-train facility he attends three full days a week. He has some insecurities while on lead walks with other dogs. He's working hard on becoming an adult and learning how to stay calm and focused around distractions. Did I mention he is in FT training. His training includes: Loose-leash walking. Recall. Place command. Confidence building. Socialization with dogs and people Gary is very affectionate-he loves to be close, enjoys cuddles, and naturally sticks by your side. He has medium-to-high energy and would thrive in a home that can give him both structure and affection. He is smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn, making him a great fit for someone familiar with shepherds, Malinois, or working breeds.
