About Maizie Mae

Hi, my name is Maizie Mae. Yes, I am the princess of the palace. I'm a 3.5-year-old Australian Shepherd (38 lbs of pure fluff and energy), and I prefer to reign as the only pet in your kingdom-no competition, please. My foster momma says it's ok to be the only child, I just need all the loving to myself. I'm completely vetted, on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention, and house trained like the classy lady I am. I know basic commands (sit, stay, and yes, I will pose for treats), and I'm not a fan of crates, but I do perfectly fine lounging around the house while my people are away. I love kids, but I can get a bit too excited around the tiny ones. Older, dog-savvy kids are my jam. I can be a little cautious with some men at first, but with patience and kindness, I warm up just fine. I would also be the perfect adventure buddy! I love boat rides, splashing in the water, and going for walks. A fenced-in yard is a must, because zoomies are serious business. If you know anything about my breed, you would completely understand. So if you're looking for a loyal, energetic, and slightly dramatic sidekick who will adore you like royalty-you just might be my forever throne.
