'Frito', A2209020, at West Valley Shelter has been added to the URGENT LIST due severe FAS (fear anxiety stress)!!! URGENT: Frito Needs an Experienced Hero!!! Meet Frito, a 3-year-old male Havanese mix weighing 30 pounds, who came into the shelter as a stray on July 13, 2025. Frito has been added to the Urgent List as a Level 4 due to fear-based behaviors. He is defensive in his kennel, bites at the leash, panics, and will alligator roll when handled. Frito is not doing well in the shelter environment and desperately needs someone experienced with fearful or reactive dogs to give him a chance. He's struggling, but dogs like Frito can blossom in the right hands with patience, understanding, and structure.
