About Rocky

Rocky is a great dog! He is energetic, sweet tempered and patient with children. He gets along well with other dogs and has never shown aggression towards any humans. He will alert you by barking when someone is at the house. Being an Aussie mix he is a great outside dog! He has lived primarily outside coming in only when temps are too high/low. He is semi housetrained but would need a refresher especially if being considered as a primarily indoor pet. He is used to being tethered outside and sleeping in a dog house. If you do not have a tether or fence, he would need to be trained on boundaries for his new home. A big yard/farm/ranch or the like, would be an ideal situation for him as he would enjoy it and also take care of it. He knows how to sit, lay, stay and come (the last two he sometimes needs a bit of guidance on as he gets excited or distracted). He has some training with being on leashes and walks as he went to an obedience class, a refresher would be helpful. He loves his family and if he sense a threat will put himself physically between the threat and those he loves.
