About Taffy

Taffy is a 4 year old 13 pound Terrier. She is a cute little terrier girl that enjoys walks, pets, down time and the yard. Taffy is true to the terrier spirit: sometimes independent, and sometimes has opinions, but she enjoys being near her people and is very happy to be with loving people. She walks well on leash, is off leash recall trained. rides well in a car, and is a happy dog. She enjoys trips to the river across the street. Taffy would love to be the only apple of your eye, though would be fine with an easygoing small dog. She would do better with a male but gets along with non-opinionated females too. Taffy is fostered in Cascadia, about an hour from Corvallis, Salem, Eugene, Sistes. About 2 from Newport and PDX. We will meet your part way if you come from afar. She is spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, de-wormed and on flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $300. Taffy has been physically mistreated in her past, and so we will seek a gentle, understanding, quiet home without loud voices. She will do best in a home with adults only. She would love a calm life with her own person or people. Taffy does bark at times, but is not a frequent barker. A great home for Taffy and her must haves include: 1. An owned home with a fenced yard. No apartments for the Taffers. 2. Adopters who are either experienced with rescue dogs whose pasts were not kind, or who are open to learning how Taffy feels afe . Once she adapts to a new home, Taffy quickly grows trust, and loves her people. A quiet senior home would be one idea of her perfect heaven. 3. Taffy would enjoy being the only apple of your eye. She does get along with easygoing dogs 4. Adopters who include their dogs as family members and will take her on fun outings. 5.
