About Petey

Petey was dumped on our property about 6 weeks ago. He is a sweet boy and gets along well with humans and other dogs. The vet thinks he is 1 1/ to 2 years old and he still has a bit of puppy energy. After a good walk or romp in the morning, he sleeps most of the day. After another round of exercise in the late afternoon, he settles next to us to chew his bone. He does like to play rough with our dog of similar size, but he has never shown any aggression. Together they can become a handful and since we are senior citizens, they can be a bit much for us. Overall, his energy level is moderate. He does not have separation anxiety when left alone, he hardly ever barks and he does not try to escape a fenced area. We have taught him to 'sit' and wait for his food to be served. He walks well on a leash if our dog is not present. He really is a good boy and he deserves a good home. As a single dog, he would be a great companion and an easy dog. We have had him neutered and vaccinated. He is 21' tall and weighs 52 lbs.
