About Hardy

Do you like being solo? Are you looking for a forever friend and willing to put in the love and care? This boy come into the shelter completely untouched and as feral as the day is long. Sadly, that means he was on his own a loooong time. But! He has made huge strides since coming to us. Hardy is quiet in the shelter and is timid to meet new ppl, but he will work his way to the kennel front to see you. He's let's is handle him, walks on a leash to go out but needs work in the big open. Hardy loves quiet, soft pats, and had learned to love our attentions. So much so that he will gently place his paw on your leg when getting ready to leave, asking in his own speedboat way for you to stay. How touching this guy is! His ideal owner will be someone who lives alone or a quiet couple. Harfy had never showed aggression if any kind, but he needs one on one work in a calm environment, so for this reason we suggest no children or other pets in the home. We do not wish to see our hard work ruined by placing him in an unsuitable environment. He had a huge heart, which says a lot considering whomever left him out on his own. He deserves that chance!
