About MATER

Do you see this good boy? Yep that's right, he's a purebred good boy. So how did he come to be in the shelter, you ask? Well because this loveable lug is about as country as it gets. Unfortunately, he likes chicken... maybe a little too much. It was his misadventure into a chicken coop that landed him in the slammer, but we can not for the life of us figure out why no one's snatched him up. But hey! We're down for some KFC too, so we're not holding it against him. Mater is approx 1-2 yrs old, a happy guy who loves to run and play. Lots of energy, but not crazy. He can be found at the Gallia County Canine Shelter. He's been with us since March, and while he loves us, he really needs a place of his own with car rides, lots of room to stretch out those legs, and an owner who, well... also likes chicken,of course!
