He is RESCUE ONLY for A BITE TO KNEE AFTER SOMEONE ALLEGES THEY TRIED TO MOVE HIM (WITH THEIR KNEE?), CIRCUMSTANCES WERE NOT CLARIFIED AND OWNER DID NOT LEAVE NOTES. BUT YOU CAN SEE HIS UTTER NEGLECT AND TELL WHAT SORT OF HOME HE CAME FROM. WE NEED A CHOW SAVVY FOSTER, FOSTER TO ADOPT AND OR A RESCUE ASAP TO SAVE HIM. Emergency- Kilo is soon to be euthanized. Please watch his video, he shows no aggression and acts like a typical aloof chow in the shelter. After being locked up for over two weeks, he was just let out for the first time in the yard as seen in video we were just given. The shelter behaviorist let us know, 'No pro-social behaviors noted during our interaction. Some growling, side eyeing with any touch around his neck/face. He didn't seek any engagement or show interest in toys. ' Basically, he is being a chow in a scary shelter environment. We are now in urgent need of finding a chow savvy foster and rescue for this handsome male chow before he is killed. Please note he may not be adopted directly from the shelter, he requires a partnered rescue to pull him and sign an indemnity waiver. Rescues need fosters.
