About Rowdy

URGENT: Border Collie in Need of Experienced Home or Rescue Rowdy is a 5-6-year-old Border Collie. He is a sweet, affectionate dog who's running out of time. He's smart, snuggly, and loves attention from people-but his behavior has become increasingly reactive which may be due to past instability and lack of structure. Rowdy is currently living with seniors in their 80s who can no longer safely manage him. He's shown resource guarding toward other dogs and has bitten people during high-stress moments. His recall is unreliable, and he needs more physical and mental outlets than his current household can provide. Despite many moments of calm and connection, his behavior is deteriorating and becoming harder to manage in his current home. He Needs: * An experienced, adult-only home (no young children) * Carefully managed dog interactions * A structured, calm environment using positive reinforcement. * Someone who understands herding breeds and reactivity.
